The United States has followed through on its warnings that more sanctions against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) were coming. Last Friday, it imposed sanctions on nearly 400 entities and individuals, including many in China, for their support of Russia’s war in Ukraine. This comes after NATO determined the CCP is the “decisive enabler” of Russia’s ability to keep the war going. And now, rather than backing off its support for Russia, CCP leaders are doubling down.
