Jan. 6 charges are allegedly being used in attempted blackmail to make a candidate drop out of a race. We speak with Jeff Zink—a Republican candidate in Arizona running for U.S.
Congress against incumbent Democrat Ruben Gallego—who alleges that his son was falsely arrested on Jan. 6, and says he received an anonymous phone call telling him that if he drops out of the race, the charges against his son will be dropped.
Meanwhile, we spoke with Kash Patel, chief of staff to the acting U.S. secretary of defense under President Donald Trump, about potential problems in the operations of the House committee to investigate Jan. 6.

In this live Q&A with Crossroads host Joshua Philipp, we’ll discuss these stories and others, and answer questions from the audience.
