In a rather wild turn of events—which is sure to have massive repercussions in the coming year—a federal court has just ruled that former President Donald Trump is not immune from civil lawsuits that arise over what took place on Jan. 6.
This means that besides all of the lawsuits that President Trump is already facing, the door has been flung open for civil lawsuits to be filed against him as well by anyone who can make the argument that they were victimized on Jan. 6.
And so, in the coming year, look out for members of Congress, Capitol police officers, and maybe even attendees of the rally to file lawsuits against President Trump.

According to a heavily redacted search warrant and other documents released earlier this week, Special Counsel Jack Smith demanded information on Twitter users who liked or retweeted President Trump’s tweets leading up to January 6th.
Twitter ultimately complied.
This means that if you interacted with President Trump’s Twitter account before he got kicked off — well, your name is literally on a list.
